Fort Cody - North Platte, Nebraska

North Platte, Nebraska
Buffalo Bill’s Home Town
Fort Cody, at the jct. of Interstate 80 and U.S. 83, is one of Nebraska’s most interesting tourist stops. Built of heavy logs, with sentry towers, complete with “armed guards,” it is a replica of the fortifications of 1860 to 1875 era. North Platte is truly proud to be home of the old Buffalo Bill Ranch, now a Nebraska State Park.
